Oh my Shell. I have a friend who, at his dad's deathbed, had five or six adults, who looked a little like him and a little like his dying father. He then learned that he had some "half-siblings." It was a shock. And no one spit into a vial.

I could not help an audible intake of breath reading this. What a time to discover such a secret! Both sides seem to have handled it far better than I would have imagined.

I think they’ve all made a kind of peace with it, but certain turning point events like that in life sort of shape us, don’t they? I seem to write about uncovering these secrets a lot lately. Stay tuned. . . haha

Shell Norman - so many secrets out there - this one really weighed on my heart and psyche. I need to do better with being kinder, we just never know what people have gone through/going through. Thank for the reminder :)
